Yukon Annual Festivals and Events

Adaka Cultural Festival

The local native groups host the ACF at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre in Whitehorse. It usually takes place at the end of June to the beginning of July. Come and celebrate the local First Nations art, culture, and maybe learn a thing or two!

Available Light Film Festival

The ALFF Showcases Canada’s talent in on-screen productions as well as promoting film in northern Canada. To attend ALFF, be in Whitehorse early to mid-February.

Atlin Arts and Music Fest

The Atlin Arts and Music Fest takes place in mid to late July. There is local music, art and films to experience.

Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race

An annual dog sled taking place in February between Fairbanks, Alaska and Whitehorse, Yukon.

Frostbite Music Festival

Come dance in the dead of winter to local and international musicians! What makes this 3-day music festival so special is that it originally came into existence purely to promote community spirit.
